Boots | Miista Hera Bootie

My newest want. I've been looking for some clogish boots.
You know, wooden sole with a slight chunky heel.

I debated a few, including the Ugg Lynnea.
Sadly, the foot bed and toe box of the boot aren't shearing lined.
Bummerrrr.

I like the woven macrame look of these combined with the moccasin like tassels
although they may be too similar to my Sperry's...

but I will admit they make the most beautiful clothes.

tata! Off to enjoy the last few days of sun here in Oberlin
before it turns gray and wet.

But jeez expensive!

A cold front/the fall has moved in to Oberlin. Perfect sweater weather!
I can't wait to get started on some new warm fuzzy project and to break out
the things I finished over the summer.

Spent yesterday afternoon natural dyeing over open fire with two of the most inspiring fiber fanatics in Oberlin. I will post pictures later.

So so so so much to do this fall.

Love. I think I'm going to knit myself a modified version of the gams. No way am I going to pay $90 + for something I can knit in 2 days with yarn that will cost $10.

I have a few other projects in mind for the fall too.

Going to buy some cork board so I can start making an ideas board to pin up swatches, color chips, magazine clippings.

Have to start thinking of ideas for an Private study with the Art department and what I'm going to do with my fall!

To weave or not to weave? So many questions, ideas running around in my head!

Another stunning collection. The dark hues are perfect for fall, I especially love all of the blood red. I can't wait to get my hands on the True Romance graphic pants (top pic) and Rouched and Ready dress (bottom pic).
