These cords were a steal $30 from anthro! It's hard to see but they are

corduroys over plaid print, so there is this shadow effect, pretty cool.

In elementary school I had a pair of plaid pants like this from LTD too,

I adored them. Seems like not too much has changed.

Underwater Gem

A grown-up version of those little adhesive rhinestones I used to plaster all over my face/body/eyes in elementary school.

Heart

Sometimes,

I forget that the heart is a muscle.

Muscles don't break.

With use, they only get stronger,

and

sometimes they tear, or get sore;

but never break.

With rest and care muscles heal.

Overuse, that can happen too...

A good night's sleep will always fix that.

Newest Hobby

Now that I have all my degree things squared away-- I've finally picked a single major and minor and enrolled part time in two fantastic classes. It's time to get going on my extra-curriculars. Which anyone who knows me would tell you, I never have a shortage of things to do.

My newest adventure: concocting my own recipes.

My first experiment is cookie dough.

Peanut butter cut-out cookies.
