ruth marshall

These knitted pelts are the work of Ruth Marshall. Each one is an exact replica of a real animal. In 2009 she was granted access to study pelts at the American Museum of Natural History. How awesome and also cruelty free are these? Fascinating.

As a conservationist, Marshall's work also speak to the destruction of habitat and dwindling populations of many of the worlds most fascinating creatures.
